Transport Scotland has launched a consultation on proposals for the upgrade of the A82 between Tarbet and Inverarnan. It seems that they intend to follow the existing line of the road, rather than undertake larger civil engineering work requiring tunnels or the substantial sections of the road being built out into the loch.
